In former times there was smbfstab to mount SMB and CIFS filesystems in openSUSE. I think when this changed I followed /usr/share/doc/packages/cifs-utils/README.cifstab.migration So I have the following mounts in my /etc/fstab now: //nas/share /local/net cifs noperm,file_mode=0644,password="" 0 0 //nas/media /local/media cifs noperm,file_mode=0644,password="" 0 0 //smart-controller/openHAB-conf /local/openhab cifs noperm,file_mode=0644,username=openhabian,password=openhabian 0 0 But none of those is mounted when I reboot the system.
