Sounds like the wrong libGL is being used. Check that entries in /etc/ld.so.conf.d/nvidia-gfxG04.conf are active and not commented out. ldd to some OpenGL binary should mention /usr/X11R6/lib64/libGL.so.1 instead of /usr/lib64/libGL.so.1
