You can save alsactl contents on Fedora (right after alsaucm invocation) like

  alsactl -f /some/file store 1

where "1" is the card number for the SOF driver.  Check /proc/asound/cards
beforehand.

Then copy this file to TW, and restore it via

  alsactl -f /some/file restore 0

here "0" is specified as TW had this device as primary.  See /proc/asound/cards
beforehand just to be sure.

Then try arecord.
