Yes. The chromium by default use autodetection of the keyring present on the
system. The gnome/kde desktop ones just simply hardcoded kwalled and
gnome-keyring in there.

It is really not needed, even in case both of the packages are on the system
the chromium checks which one is running and binds itself to it...
