The settings in the old sysconfig file are indeed not used anymore, but the chronyd.service file we take from upstream does have support for passing command line options to chronyd from a sysconfig file: EnvironmentFile=-/etc/sysconfig/chronyd ExecStart=/usr/sbin/chronyd $OPTIONS I'll edit and rename the file accordingly.
