According to the spdx.json file (checked the EC2 image), dracut is included,
which includes the nvmf module. What's missing for boot-over-NVMeoF support is
nvme-cli and wicked-nbft, AFAICT.

I had a similar discussion with Doug Farley last week. He was trying images
from https://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/15.6/appliances/, where
the same packages were missing, and in addition, only kernel-default-base was
installed (which is missing the nvme-fabrics and nvme-tcp modules).

This needs to be discussed with the cloud architects. I suppose they are trying
to make these images as small as possible.

Anyway, this is Leap. To my understanding, we can discuss the about SLE images,
but the Leap images are a community effort on which we have little influence,
and for which SUSE doesn't offer support.

Setting needinfo on Robert to comment from the cloud team's perspective.
