And, which repositories and packages are you using?  Is PA from the offical
Leap one?  Or is it taken from other repositories?  Please give "rpm -qa" and
"zypper lr -u" outputs.

I couldn't reproduce such an issue on a test system here, but it's a pure Leap.
The fact that aplay and paplay show the behavior implies that pulseaudio itself
already behaves differently.  We need to revert if any wild change is in...
