I redid the upgrade using snapshot 20141102 of my previous 20141029 system. I was lucky, the system ended in a grub2 boot menu with only the the Factory system and an option to restart the SWAP. However booting Windows and openSUSE 13.2 the other systems on the laptop were not present in the boot menu. After booting I used save_y2logs to get the YaST logs, which are in the attachment y2logs.tgz.
