PS, in case it is indeed related to the Plasma update, a guess would be that it's caused by this: https://cgit.kde.org/kwin.git/commit/?id=0124b1ef191fcafe0d0f89287be66b36833586e6 (the previous NVidia patch already caused problems on intel/hybrid systems so we reverted it, this is supposed to fix it but needs a change to Qt as well) I'll prepare a package without it for you to test.
