Ok, thanks, it seems that it freezes on an udevadm command.
Could you please execute:

udevadm info -a /dev/block/8:16

as root and check whether that also freezes your machine?

If so, can you please provide the output of:

udevadm info -e
journalctl -axb --no-pager
dmesg
