I'm not sure I fully understand your question.

A fix for this problem is in the repo now, so in this regard you should indeed
be safe to update.

OTOH, there may be other problems that haven't been discovered yet, especially
as KDE:Framework now has Plasma 5.19 *beta*.

You would in general be safer if you would remove the KDE:Frameworks5 repo and
stick to only the standard Tumbleweed repos... ;-)
