For the record, the breakage is caused by CVE-2013-5653.patch in ghostscript 0.9.15. More precisely, if I remove the first added "systemdict /getenv {pop //false} put" line (in /.locksafe {}) in gs_init.ps, okular and evince can display (E)PS files again. As it works in 0.9.20, I had a look at the history of gs_init.ps in upstream git, and found this (simple) commit: http://git.ghostscript.com/?p=ghostpdl.git;a=commitdiff;h=99e331527d541a8f01ad5455c4eb2aabd67281a6;hp=0d4644c003067fc14ca1db9c600dce420c06e6b1 So I tried it and indeed, this change fixes the problem with okular and evince too. So can we do a followup update with this fix please?
