The question is whether it boots up fine without the amdgpu-pro stuff. If it boots at least, then it's a problem in amdgpu-pro, and AMD people has to take a look. OTOH, if the boot problem persists without amdgpu-pro stuff, it's the kernel problem and we have to take a deeper look. Also, please be careful when you uninstalling amdgpu-pro stuff. It might leave some broken setup at dracut config, too. IOW, try to boot the old kernel without amdgpu-pro, and confirm that everything works. After that, boot with the new kernel.
