I have tried this on both Tumbleweed and Leap 15.6 host
I have both Tumbleweed KDE and Leap 15.6 KDE and have no issues
All have X11 and not Wayland.

What is your host and version on the host.

Have you tried the Oracle VirtualBox 15.X code from here
https://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/7.0.20/VirtualBox-7.0-7.0.20_163906_openSUSE153-1.x86_64.rpm

It works with Leap 15.6 as I have a machine that is 100% Oracle VirtualBox
code.

If it does not work with their code - report a bug to Oracle.

Here is my KDE and all works (Leap 15.6 host)
