It's definitely not plug-and-play at this point. Alsa mixer is now working,
however, I'm having trouble getting mic input (even when playing with the input
volumes in alsa mixer), and the audio control from pulse is definitely not
right. The volume rapidly increases from 0-20%, then it is pretty much the same
level from 20%-100%.

Would this be resolveable by creating a "special UCM profile for PulseAudio"?
Is there a direction you can point me towards, as to how to create a UCM
profile?
