I'm not sure how to proceed with this issue. Klaus, did you check if session vs system libvirtd for running VMs as a regular user satisfies your needs (see comment #13)? Also note that the system libvirtd starts VMs as the 'qemu' user and group. You can change that to a user and group of your liking in /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf. Beware a custom user and group must have appropriate rights, e.g. member of the kvm group.
