Comment # 1 on bug 1155031 from Josef M�llers

named runs in a chroot'ed environment. Its "/" is the value of the "directory"
directive in /etc/named.conf: "/var/lib/named".
Create the directory relative to that path and named will start (barring other
problems).
Also, don't forget to "chown named: <path>" or named will still not start!
