plasma5-defaults-openSUSE overwrites files in /etc/xdg (creating *.rpmorig files). This means those files need a manual update after this package is updated. The /etc/xdg/kdeglobals file is also the (in the documentation) recommended file for kiosk settings, which are now lost after update. I think if a user makes adjustments to these files, they should not be overwritten. The use case for me is kiosk. (This bug was already present in previous version).
