The ACPI error messages are mostly harmless, indicating the BIOS firmware
error, not a kernel problem, per se.  You can ignore it unless you see any real
problems related with it.

About the boot time, try to install the old Leap 42.3 kernel (with --oldpackage
option), boot with it, and give the dmesg output.  Then we can compare the
timestamps.
