The fonts in xorg-x11-fonts have been around for a long time, thus mostly
covering only latin scripts. In the meantime, a lots of fonts have been made
available, with often much more favorable licenses and much better glyph
coverage. Requiring xorg-x11-fonts or any font contained therein is IMHO a bad
idea.

If you just want at least one font to be installed, Requires: font(:lang=en)
should be sufficient. (Unfortunately, a lot of fonts are packaged badly and
provide no "font(:lang=*)" at all.)
