Hm, it's not clear what's going on without logs. But you can try either
the netwait=N or dhcptimeout=N boot options in case it's about the network
setup. N is in seconds.

If neither does help, I'll need /var/log/linuxrc.log after booting with
linuxrc.debug=1.
