The measured temperature at start was 77.14C (= 7154 * 458/10000 - 25051/100), and it went down to 55.89C (= 6690), slightly up to 68C (6968). Does the boost behavior appear when you turn off the console loglevel? And my wild guess now is that it's because polling is disabled when entering this mode. Will cook up another test patch.
