Well a patch is supposed to have a commit message at least, you only provided a raw diff. Can you please generate your patch with "git format-patch" so your patch will contain all the relevant metadata ? I believe that's the same process as the one requested by the kernel folks, so you should be familiar with it, shouldn't you ? Also can you please if this should be backported to other distros (SLE12-SP5, SLE15) too ?
