What it write for you? we create source for rpm by packaging git, so it should
be identical.

I hope patch is not needed to be edited. If you create in your home
experimental package I can check it and give you hints what can be broken.

Thanks, but I think better way is to learn you about patch creation, so you are
free to edit it as much as you want.
