Can you please be a bit more specific?
What did you configure and what does not work?

This can only work if kded4 is started, which is not necessarily the case when
logging into Plasma5.

IOW, this is not expected to work.
Plasma5 has auto-mounting itself and this should work, if not it's a bug.
