The sssd-ad plugin seems to be partially broken in SSSD version 1.12.0. 

It does not resolv the name of the users main groups as well as any of the
users additional groups at all. The problem was mentioned on the sssd_devel
email list and the suggested solution was to upgrade to version 1.12.1.

Please upgrade openSUSE 13.2 to SSSD 1.12.1. I have built a test version in OBS
here:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:endzone:branches:network:ldap/sssd

The new plugins coming with 1.12.1 have been disabled, so the same
functionality as in 1.12.0 is provided.
