Hello, I am thinking about this further ... what we're doing here ? Everybody who doesn't have like me locked old packages # zypper -vv se -xsi kernel-default virtualbox-kmp-default virtualbox Verbosity: 3 Non-option program arguments: 'kernel-default' 'virtualbox-kmp-default' 'virtualbox' Initializing Target Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... S | Name | Type | Version | Arch | Repository ---+------------------------+---------+--------------------------------------------+--------+------------------ il | kernel-default | package | 6.11.0-lp155.4.1.gce149d2 | x86_64 | (System Packages) il | kernel-default | package | 6.11.5-lp155.4.1.g4703d94 | x86_64 | kernel il | kernel-default | package | 6.4.0-150600.23.25.1 | x86_64 | Update SLE 15 i+ | virtualbox | package | 7.0.20-lp155.2.31 | x86_64 | kernel-kmp il | virtualbox-kmp-default | package | 7.0.20_k6.11.0_lp155.4.gce149d2-lp155.2.20 | x86_64 | (System Packages) il | virtualbox-kmp-default | package | 7.1.4_k6.11.5_lp155.4.g4703d94-lp155.2.1 | x86_64 | kernel-kmp is disqualified if they want to use https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/stable:/Backport/standard/ https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/stable:/Backport:/KMP/standard/ along with virtualbox .. Updated kernel repo is absolutely crucial for desktops, especially new hardware on laptops (unless you enjoy i915 lock-ups and freezes) .. Please stick as with a temporary solution with what we have currently .. we currently have latest available virtualbox 7.0.20-lp155.2.31 so let's provide for it virtualbox-kmp-default ... Providing 7.1.4_k6.11.5_lp155.4.g4703d94-lp155.2.1 without virtualbox-7.1.4_k6.11.5_lp155.4 makes absolutely no sense .. thanks for support and regards, ~dan
