From the logs I take that the frame-buffer device was created in /dev/fb1. I suggest testing it using one of the following options: https://github.com/notro/fbtft/wiki/Framebuffer-use If you installed a desktop GUI (xfce, kde, gnome, etc...) I suggest to try the first option (the X Server one).
