Issue: Lack of Support for Wayland's cursor-shape-v1 Protocol in GTK

At present, GTK does not support the cursor-shape-v1 Wayland protocol, which is
expected to resolve issues related to mouse cursor scaling and appearance on
Wayland. This issue has been tracked in GTK's repository, and further technical
discussions can be found in the following merge request:

Workarounds:

There are community-provided workarounds and hacks that may offer temporary
