I guess this is something the local admin has to decide, how the kernel inside the temporary VM should behave. 'modinfo xfs' shows the known module options, which can be enabled via modprobe.conf files. Or tweak 'init' and do 'modprobe xfs ; test -f /sys/module/xfs/params/param && echo value > $_' to do it at runtime.
