I have only encrypted the home directory in my re-installation of Tumbleweed, and the system is a lot more stable now. However, the desktop will still freeze, often after or during the playing of videos. The only extra repository I have enabled is http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/mermoldy:/multimedia/openSUSE_Factory/
