at moment and for quite a time the external monitor is not detected anymore.
xrandr says hdmi-1 disconnected (which is not true, another OS which shall
remain unnamed make full use of the external monitor).
I've read that there is a new version of nouveau upcoming with kernel 4.15,
perhaps we'll just wait for this? It seems that I'm the only one stuck with
nvidia optimus hardware and wanting to use another monitor...
And I assume this case should be assigned to somewhere else than "Gnome"?
perhaps kernel?
