From the supportlog, Plymouth has no problems, it waiting for the quit signal
but no component sends to it. Because Plymouth did not quit, it keeps the
graphic DRM device all the time, so your display manager could not start.
the situation of "init 3" works fine, so this is a special situation of boot
progress.
Generally, the Plymouth quit action is triggered by the display manager but
seems we don't support the sddm. I will close this bug temporarily, if other
people find the same problem in GNOME, please feel free to reopen it.
