Popup Notification of missing notification file
Enlightenment 0.21.7
Updated a machine that hadn't been touched in months running
42.2/Enlightenment.
The attached file is the persistent popup error,
Which generally says that the Notification function is trying to read from a
tmp file that does not exist. It then goes on to say that the file is
empty(actually non-existent) so assumes the file is corrupted and would be
removed.
Attempted fixes...
Verified file does not exist.
Attempted to create an empty file manually, but as the popup describes, the
file is deleted when the next time notification is run (approx every 2 seconds)
Verified, and modified Notifications from the Main Menu. Changes are accepted
but with no change to creating the file.
Don't know what package provides Notification, whether re-installing that might
reset and possibly write the needed file.
