The facetimehd-firmware package requires you to be connected to the internet when installing the package. Perhaps this is the issue? Do as Takashi says, check if the firmware file exists (/usr/lib/firmware/facetimehd/firmware.bin). If it doesn't, try reinstalling the facetimehd-firmware package and provide the output from that operation: For me it looks like this: Retrieving: facetimehd-firmware-1.0-1.8.noarch (Main Repository (OSS)) (1/1), 9,5 KiB Retrieving: facetimehd-firmware-1.0-1.8.noarch.rpm .......................[done] Checking for file conflicts: .............................................[done] (1/1) Installing: facetimehd-firmware-1.0-1.8.noarch .....................[done] Running post-transaction scripts .........................................[done] Running: facetimehd-firmware-1.0-1.8-facetimehd-firmware-install.sh.txt (facetimehd-firmware, /var/adm/update-scripts) FacetimeHD firmware download and installation script Downloading driver...done Extracting firmware...done Installing firmware...done Running: facetimehd-firmware-1.0-1.8-facetimehd-firmware-install.sh.txt ([done]
