The facetimehd-firmware package requires you to be connected to the internet
when installing the package. Perhaps this is the issue?

Do as Takashi says, check if the firmware file exists
(/usr/lib/firmware/facetimehd/firmware.bin). If it doesn't, try reinstalling
the facetimehd-firmware package and provide the output from that operation:
