On ASUS N61Jv laptop either upgrading from an earlier UEFI bootable snapshot to the snapshot 11.08.2015 results in an unbootable system: After selecting openSUSE in the grub2 menu the boot process gets stuck at the "Loading ramdisk" stage. I also tried installing Debian testing giving the same result.
