Yast2 recognizes the Samsung ML-2165W USB printer correctly, but it appears to have no driver for it (even after installing Splix and all the other additional driver packages). The same printer works out-of-the-box on Ubuntu, so I reckon that suitable drivers *do* exist. (In fact, I believe Samsung is providing a driver, even, though it may not be open source.) I think it's possible that Splix has a driver for that printer, but the ancient 2.0.0 release used on Leap appparently does not. Other distributions seem to prefer the latest SVN revision 315 of the splix package since it has had many updates that were never released properly (but which do work nicely in practice).
