In both of those logs there is barely anything scanned and actually nothing
daemon* counters. So I am afraid vmstat alone will not tell us much. Vlastimil,
do you have any suggestion for further data collection tips?

I was thinking about collecting /proc/$(pidof khugepaged)/stack as well. But
maybe compaction related tracepoints would tell us more.
