Created attachment 874824 [details] Typical download speed from build.o.o I am currently in India and the download speeds when doing `osc checkout` have been just terrible — about 20 KiB/s on a good day. For packages with source tarballs of a few MiB, the download proceeds at snail's pace and eventually errors out with something like the following: > Connection broken: IncompleteRead(6935464 bytes read, 17469448 more expected) The same thing happens with zypper downloads; however, in that case it is easy to work around the problem by specifying a working, non-crap mirror (http://opensuse-mirror-gce-ap.susecloud.net/tumbleweed/repo/ is pretty good). There is apparently no user-facing way to do something similar for use by osc. The lack of such a configuration option for the build service means I am completely frozen out of any build-service related work as long as I am in India.
