Please read those comments again.

In particular, changing "make build-nocheck" to just "make" should actually
*enable* to run the tests...

AFAICT, the problem only occurs when running the tests separately from the
build phase.
But strange enough, only in the Update repo.

That said, maybe it relates now to the new compile options in Leap:42.3:Update?
