For the record, KDE Telepathy has a new upstream maintainer meanwhile:

This should address the concerns that it might be abandoned I hope.

And therefore I also see no (good) reason to hold it back anymore, so I'm
really going to resubmit the packages to Factory shortly (tomorrow,
probably...).

@Luca:
I understand that you don't want to have them updated "automatically" as part
of the other KDE:Applications packages, or does the above change your opinion
on that too?
I'll definitely can keep on doing it myself though. (I do have a script for
that ;-) )
