Minor issue, yet it kills average user. This is default XFCE upgrade from 12.3. XFCE associates .doc files with LibreOffice, yet Firefox associates .doc with gedit (it was LO before). Of course after opening it with gedit user sees some cryptic message on the screen and panics. Since LO is installed by default (?) please associate .doc with LO as well (not only for the XFCE itself).
