Igor, did you deselect package xorg-x11-driver-video, or deselect install
recommended packages, during installation? NAICT, X1300 is just a little older
than is supported by the default modesetting display driver, which for newer
GPUs negates need for xorg-x11-driver-video, a meta-package that installs
xf86-video-ati.
