Caribou 0.4.16 seems to be addressing this issue (likely with the commit https://git.gnome.org/browse/caribou/commit/?id=b2d9ac02c41f890652749c0a563d381bb9a44ad0 Bjorn is already working on an update of the GNOME 3.14.2 stack - I am, off head, not sure if caribou is part of the update.
