Sergio (or Berthold), please try to reproduce the issue with kernel from > http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/mkubecek:/bsc1156053/openSUSE_Factory_zSystems/s390x/ (5.1.10 kernel with CONFIG_HARDENED_USERCOPY enabled). If it works correctly (no BUG check), try also > http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/mkubecek:/bsc1156053-2/openSUSE_Factory_zSystems/s390x/ (5.3.6 kernel with the two patches mentioned in comment 7 reverted).
