My add-ons are never updated in Firefox - I don't remember seeing add-ons updated automatically and manually checking for updates does not find them either. But going to addons.mozilla.org I do see that updates are available. about:config shows the following with true: extensions.update.autoUpdateDefault extensions.update.enabled
