On Leap 42.3, the update of the kernel graphics stack will be provided not in kernel-default but in drm-kmp-default as the update KMP. However, the current Leap 42.3 installation doesn't seem to contain this package on media and on installer. Note that, without drm-kmp, the native support of the recent GPUs like Kabylake or AMDGPU is missing.
