in short, gnome_basic is GNOME desktop for SLES, gnome is GNOME desktop for
SLED.

And initially, gnome-software was supposed to be only on SLED (but not
anymore).

And for SLE15, unlike on SLE12, I made sure to have a common pattern between
both. And for openSUSE, there is no point for a "minimal" GNOME desktop (like
SLES)
