OK. I have done the following:

1)Switched to use the main distribution's libavformat57,
libavcodec57,libavutil55, DVDStyler

2) Tested DVDSTYLER project - FAIL

3) Truncated the VOB file to 1 minute

4) Created new DVDSTYLER project - FAIL with same error

5) Created same new DVDSTYLER project with OpenSuse Leap15 - SUCCESS

6) Uploaded 1 minute vob file (12MB zipped) for you to use
humanint.com/customer-review/dave/1minute.zip


The DVDSTYLER project has no template, just the 1 vob.
