Tumbleweed's kernel-default 4.7.0 does not contain support for the rpi3 at all. There is only an unofficial Contrib image with patched kernel-default. Not even the linux-next tree has support for the pi3's SDIO Wifi yet. A potential patch series from Jun 22 on linux-arm-kernel list is titled "[PATCH 0/5] mmc: bcm2835-sdhost: Add new driver for the internal SD controller." For 4.8-rc1 sdhci-bcm2835 has indeed been dropped in favor of sdhci-iproc, as mentioned in the thread Alex referenced. Here's some of the related official and unofficial trees I've come across: https://github.com/anholt/linux/commits/bcm2837-64-next https://github.com/anholt/linux/commits/bcm2835-dt-64-next https://github.com/anholt/linux/commits/bcm2835-arm64-next https://github.com/anholt/linux/commits/bcm2837-wireless https://www.kraxel.org/cgit/linux/log/?h=bcm2837-wifi https://git.linaro.org/people/ulf.hansson/mmc.git/shortlog/refs/heads/next
